We do not choose the in-between. It moves through us.<\/p>\n
We are transdisciplinary, but above all, we are indisciplinary.\nWe do not obey fixed frameworks of knowledge or creation.\nWe do not submit to systems of assignment.\nWe flourish in the unstable and the incomplete, where live the stories we didn\u2019t know we knew.<\/p>\n
We refuse fixed borders: between art and thought, between feeling and science, between the real and the imagined.\nWe resist anything that locks or divides ; for the interstice is movement, it is a crossing.\n\nWe desire no knowledge that is confined to its own ground, no creation that is detained in one place.<\/p>\n
Every attempt at erecting fences, by defining, objectifying or categorizing, leads us back to solid land, where there is no interstice.<\/p>\n
Interstices are minute events in matter. They emerge from the slightest shift in the grain of reality. They call on all our senses. These almost invisible alterations in the texture of the everyday are our raw material.<\/p>\n
We are many, fragmentary, ever-changing. We weave connection from our fragmentation. For everything comes to life in-between.<\/p>\n
Interstitial creation does not point to a single direction. It opens walkable paths for others.<\/p>\n
An interstice exists only for itself. It is not an example of anything. It does not illustrate. It does not model.<\/p>\n
We call for interstitial jurisprudence. A way of doing justice to what eludes us.<\/p>\n
